Warrensburg Roofing

Roof Installation & Roof Replacement Experts in Warrensburg, MO

Hiring a roofing contractor in Warrensburg and surrounding areas can seem overwhelming. After all, not every roofing company is reliable, much less licensed, bonded and insured. At US Quality Construction, we're proud to provide you with outstanding roofing solutions including roof installation and roof replacement.

Before you hire a roofing contractor near you, be sure to understand and ask questions!

Hiring Warrensburg Roofers

The first step in hiring a roofing company in your area is to see the quality of their work. Many local roofing contractors have a portfolio that shows off their roof installation and roof replacement projects. Large homes, small homes and complex roofing projects can all be found here. The more experience your roofer has with different projects, the better they can help serve your unique needs.

After browsing portfolios, contact 3-4 local roofing companies to ask for a consultation. Don't hesitate to ask about references, reviews and qualifications. The best roofing contractors won't hesitate to share this information with you. Eliminate any roofing company that is not:

Experienced - If they are a fly-by-night company that just started recently, they may not have enough experience to get the job done right

Licensed in the area - The best roofing companies have secured the necessary licenses and permits to be able to do business in the local area.

Insured - In case an accident occurs on your property, having insurance means you won't be liable for the damages and/or medical bills. An insured roofing contractor is as much for your protection as it is theirs!

Bonded - This means that in the case where you need to file a claim against the company, that they have money available for this purpose.

Willing to provide references - If a roofing company hesitates to provide you with references, there must be a reason!

More than Just A Local Roofing Company

Oftentimes a roofing contractor will do more than just roof installation or roof replacement. Ask about things like leaky roof repair, roof damage repair, roof waterproofing and roof insulating. In Warrensburg and surrounding areas, the weather can be rough, and having a roof that protects your home is about more than just providing shelter -- it's about protecting your investment in your home!

Why Hire a Warrensburg Roofing Replacement Company?

Instead of simply hiring an independent roofing contractor, we strongly recommend that you hire a professional roofing company. Roofing contractors are accustomed to handling larger jobs and have access to a wider range of quality roofing materials to ensure the job gets done right. In addition, their work is covered by manufacturer warranties which can give you added peace of mind. This allows them to complete the work at the best possible price without cutting corners.

Questions to Ask Before Hiring a Local Roofing Contractor

Above all, before you hire a roofing company in Warrensburg or surrounding areas, it's important to ask them the following questions when they come to evaluate the project and provide you with your free consultation:

  • What types of roofing do you install?
  • Do you have a current, up-to-date license to perform this kind of work in my area?
  • Do you work with homeowner's insurance to file claims?
  • What type of insurance do you have and what type of coverage?
  • Can you provide me with 2-3 references?
  • Do you offer free on-site inspection?

Which Roofing Installation Contractor Near Me Should I Choose?

You will likely get a variety of bids on your project from all types of roofing companies near you. There will be bids that are solidly in the middle-of-the-road, while there may be some that are lower, but as a result, the contractor is swamped with projects and may not get back to you in a timely manner. Experience can be your best friend here when deciding on which contractor to go with. The quote may be higher, but it will save you a headache in the long run of having to repair or replace the roof because of shoddy workmanship!

Especially be cautious about door-to-door roofing contractors that come by after a storm and offer to help replace or repair your roof as these individuals can be predatory and charge you a much higher fee for lower quality work. Always ask to check their license, insurance and references before you hire them.

Do You Already Know What Type of Roofing You Want?

If you already know what type of roofing material you want, this cuts down on your workload considerably by finding a suitable roofing contractor in Warrensburg to help get the job done. Not all roofing companies have experience with all types of roofs. For example, some may be more experienced with installing shingles or metal roofs while others may not have enough experience to install things like natural slate, cedar shakes or clay tiles.

You'll be glad to know that at US Quality Construction, we pride ourselves on having the experience and expertise to install a variety of roofing types to suit your needs and budget. We invite you to give us a call or fill out the quote form on our website and let us know more about your roof installation or roof replacement project.

About Warrensburg, MO

The city of Warrensburg is not just a city in Johnson County, it’s also the county seat of Johnson County in Missouri.

Life was breathed into the city of Warrensburg by European-American settlers John and Martin D. Warren in the year 1835. The city was named after their last name, Warren.

It all started when Martin Warren arrived in the city from Kentucky and settled along the Osage Indian Trail. Martin then established his cabin and blacksmith shop which ended up being the spot where the locals gather to chill. In 1836 when the County of Johnson was just newly created, Martin's shop was chosen to be the county seat. To now recognize Martin, the newly found town was named after his last name to be Warren's Burg.

The town was, however, not incorporated until 1855 which was when it got the name City of Warrensburg, MO. The arrival of the railroad in 1864 then sprouted a new commercial district five blocks along the tracks, southeast of the original town.

From the data provided by the United States Census Bureau, the city of Warrensburg occupies an entire 8.92 square miles. Out of this, only a fraction of 0.07 square miles is water, the remaining 8.85 square miles is occupied by land.

One of the landmarks of Warrensburg is the famous 1838 courthouse where the world-famous Old Drum trial of Burden vs. Hornsby took place. The ground floor of the courthouse is still structured as it were in 1870 during the trial of Burden's beloved hunting dog, known as Old Drum. Visitors of the ancient and historical site are always told the story of the trial, the neighbors, and the famous Senator George Graham Vest eulogy-A Tribute to the Dog.

This incident played a role in Warrensburg being nicknamed "the Home of Man's Best Friend."

The figures of the 2020 census put the total population of Warrensburg at 20,138. This is expected to climb to 20,758 by 2021. The population of the city stands at 2,207 people per square mile and the average household income is said to be around $62,186 with the poverty rate at 23.70%.

The City of Warrensburg is also quite diverse in racial composition. Data from the last official census by the United States Census Bureau says Warrensburg is largely dominated by Whites who account for 85.3% of the total population. They are closely followed by African Americans who make up 7.5% of the population. Others are Asians at 2.8%, Hispanic or Latino of any race at 3.1%, Native American at 0.5%, and Pacific Islanders at 0.2%. People of other races account for 0.7% while people from two or more races account for 3.1%.

The City of Warrensburg boasts some educational institutions. The Warrensburg R-VI School District coordinates the public elementary and secondary schools in the city, which include four elementary schools for grades preschool through fifth grade. The district also operates an education center known as the Reese Education Center. The center comprises the Gateway Alternative School and the "special needs and gifted education" programs.

There is also the presence of Warrensburg Area Career Center, which specializes in vocational education for students of high school-age in Warrensburg and Johnson County. A branch of the Trails Regional Library is situated in Warrensburg, MO.

The city of Warrensburg is home to the University of Central Missouri. Some of the notable infrastructures that can be found in Warrensburg are a solid road network, airport, radio stations, and a television station.

While in Warrensburg you will want to revel in a visit to the Nassif Aquatic Center where you get to enjoy slide and diving and a lap pool. Other places you would love to visit are the original Johnson County Courthouse and the site of Old Drum Statue. Not far from the city of Warrensburg are Powell Gardens, Cave Hollow Park, and Lions Lake.

Dining in restaurants around Warrensburg is a pleasurable experience. Be it Café Blackadder, Spin, Cancun Mexican Cuisine, King' Chef Buffet, Mazzios Pizza, or La Sous Terre.

Some of the notable people from Warrensburg are Mary Fallin (an ex Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma), Curtis Niles Cooper (a mathematician and professor at the University of Central Missouri), and ErrettLobban Cord (an automobile manufacturer and advocate of front-wheel-drive vehicles) but to mention a few.
