It's easy to forget to ask, but not having a licensed, certified and insured contractor could set you up for a lot of needless risk. Properly licensed, certified and insured contractors have met or exceeded the stringent requirements needed to properly handle siding installation or siding replacement, and are protected against accidental slips, falls and other injuries that could occur on the job. This protects both parties in the event of an accident and is also designed to help give you peace of mind that your siding installation is being done right by a specialized professional.
Installing new siding on a home is a very different process than replacing siding that may be faded, broken, cracked or worn. As such, both types of projects require similar skill-sets that differ in several key ways. Working with a company that has experience doing both types of projects helps ensure that your job will be done right to your complete satisfaction. We invite you to view our extensive portfolio of siding installation and siding replacement projects so that you can see the depth and variety of projects we've worked on across homes both large and small across Prairie Village.
There are lots of contractors out there, but very few who actually specialize in siding installation or replacement. At US Quality Construction, we understand that the exterior of your home is a priority. It not only has to look good, but it has to protect and insulate. It has to stand up to the elements while looking good from every angle. Because we specialize in siding, windows and doors, we're able to recommend and use the very best brands from top manufacturers to make sure you have a reliable exterior that lasts for years to come.
One of the biggest reasons to choose a certified Prairie Village siding installation specialist is the broad degree of experience they have installing many different types of siding. Although vinyl siding installation is the most popular type of installation in Prairie Village, it is by no means the only type of siding that can be installed on your home. We also install wood siding, including remarkably beautiful cedar and durable spruce and pine. If you want to bring together the best of both worlds with durable siding that looks like authentic, rustic wood siding but at a fraction of the cost and with less upkeep, you'll want to check out our page on James Hardie siding -- a type of fiber cement siding that is durable, easy to maintain and amazingly beautiful.
Plus, these different varieties of siding are designed to stay strong year after year, providing you with a dependable and beautiful exterior you can count on. Prairie Village City was one of the original visions of the landscape architect J.C. Nichols. The history, conception, and development of Prairie Village began after the illustrious landscape architect J.C. Nichols successfully developed the Country Club Plaza of Kansas City. He felt the next thing was to develop his hometown Johnson County which is also in Kansas and just some miles away from Country Club Plaza. His vision and mission were to transform those rolling hills into a well-planned and properly designed community of beautiful houses and outstanding neighborhood shopping centers.
It was, thus, how Prairie Village construction started in 1941 and it was thought to be named after Prairie School, an almost century-old establishment in the city. Before the realization and development of Prairie Village the land was owned by the Kansa, Osage, and Shawnee Indians' families. It is worth noting that the original Prairie school was first constructed in 1882. A new build was, however, deemed fit to be erected in 1912.
In 1949, J.C. Nichols's efforts paid off and his dreams came alive to reality when Prairie Village was named by the National Association of Home Builders as the best-planned community in the United States of America.
In the year 2005, the city of Prairie Village was recognized by the Kansas City Star as one of the best five suburban cities in the region. The following year (2006), the Kansas City Star again recognized Prairie Village as one of the most efficient five (5) in the entire region of Kansas.

Prairie Village enjoys a fair racial makeup. However, the racial makeup of Prairie Village is largely dominated by Whites who account for a whopping 95.3%. Unfortunately, Prairie Village does not have public schools of its own. Public education is administered by the Shawnee Mission School District. The Middle School Students of Prairie Village therefore, have to attend Indian Hills Middle School while the High School Students are left with only the option Shawnee Mission East High School.
There are, however, a couple of private schools around the neighborhood of Prairie Village such as the Cure of Ars Grade School, Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, Rockhurst High School, Saint Ann Catholic School, The Pembroke Hill School, Kansas City Christian School, and Bishop Miege High School.
