The Morgan County Courthouse in Versailles was designed in the French style paying homage to the city's name. In the architecture of the building, one can see strong features of French architecture, such as the mansard roof. The building has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. To the north of Versailles you can find a modern golf course for golf enthusiasts. South of Versailles is the largest cave in the Lake District - Jacob's Cave.
